Louisville Hopes Renaming Airport For Muhammad Ali Is Greatest For Business

Louisville, Kentucky claims many great current and former residents – Jennifer Lawrence, Diane Sawyer, Justice Louis Brandeis and Colonel Sanders among them – but only one Greatest: heavyweight boxing champ Muhammad Ali was born and raised in the city. Now it’s capitalizing on his fame by renaming the city’s airport for him.

Louisville International Airport will become Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, city officials announced yesterday, the day before what would have been Ali’s 77th birthday.
